About Kailey DelloRusso
I’m a writer, an agented novelist, writing coach, and YouTuber from Plymouth, Massachusetts. I work with writers at all stages of their journey, from the spark of an idea to looking for an agent, and I’m deeply committed to helping them stay connected to their voice, their vision, and their desire to see their stories through.
My work has been published in TrashLight Press and various online publications, and is forthcoming from Dreamworldgirl Zine and World Insane. I run In the Weeds on Substack, where I share the behind-the-scenes of novel writing. I am currently represented by Creative Artists Agency.
Founder of Write or Die Magazine
Back in 2018, I created Write or Die Magazine as a home for the kind of writing I craved. What started as a small lit mag has grown into a full-blown community of creatives across the globe, with weekly essays, author interviews, virtual events, and online workshops that bring writers together to connect and create.
We’ve published hundreds of writers, collaborated with some of the most exciting voices in the lit world, and helped thousands of readers feel less alone in their creative struggles.
I still run the magazine day-to-day—and everything we do is rooted in the same mission it started with: to empower writers through craft, creativity, and connection.
Columnist Helping Writers Get Represented
I also run the Where to Query column for Chill Subs, where I curate agent lists for the newsletter, highlighting agents actively looking for books like yours based on genre, theme, voice, comps, and career goals. These weekly lists are deeply personalized and informed by real-time publishing trends, not outdated wishlists.
Through this and my 1:1 services, I’ve helped dozens of writers find literary agents by crafting smart agent lists, editing query letters that actually sound like you, and offering practical roadmaps for navigating the submission process.
